Choice Formats:

The connection between motivation for learning and choice is acknolwedged in the professional literature for educators. Tier 1 instructional strategies includes examples of choice formats such as tic-tac-toe (Winebrenner, 1986) anchor activities (Tomlinson, 1999) and  tiered lessons (Tomlinson (1999).
